Solon Xenopoulos is an Architect, qualified at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens (1966) with Postgraduate Studies at the Bartlett School of Architecture and Planning, University College, London, in the Field of “The Architecture of Cinematic Space” (1984-1986).
Professor at the National Technical University of Athens, School of Architecture, Department of Architectural Language-Communication and Design (1974-2010).
Director of the Unit of Architectural Language, Communication and Design, at the School of Architecture, National Technical University of Athens (2002-2004).
Visiting Professor at the Department of Architecture of the University of Cyprus (Fall semester 2008).
Professor at the Department of Architecture of the University of Nicosia (2011-2014).
Head of the Department of Architecture of the University of Nicosia (2012-2013).
In 2011 awarded the title of Professor Emeritus of the National Technical University of Athens.
Since 2009 he teaches at the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Course of the National Technical University of Athens, titled Architecture-Spatial Design” in the field of “Design-Space- Culture”. Subject, “Conceptual Approaches to Design Problems”.
Since June 2014 he teaches as a Professor at the Department of Architecture, of the School of Architecture, Engineering, Land and Environmental Sciences, Neapolis University, Pafos.
In June 2014 he was elected as the Dean of the School.
He has supervised a considerable number of Phd Theses, at the National Technical University of Athens, most of which had been successfully completed.
