Under the European Programme, Life Long Learning – MYCOTICON – Dr. Julia Georgi, Assoc. Prof. Landscape Architecture and Director of European and Research Programs of Neapolis University in Cyprus, held on December 11, 2013, a working visit to Agriculture University if Athens participating in the program. There Dr. Georgi had a constructive meeting with the manager of the program, Dr. George Zervaki, Assoc. Professor, at which they discussed the state and prospect of MYCOTICON Program and further cooperation between the two universities in other European programs.
Dr. Georgi further more hat meetings with Mr. George Protopapas, Architect and National Representative of Greece to the European program LIFE +, serving on the Green Fund of the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, in which they discussed among others the prospect of cooperation – participation Neapolis University in Cyprus in the LIFE +, after the submitted a formal request for participation of Neapolis University in Cyprus to LIFE + in cooperation with the University of Thessaly. Noted that Dr. Georgi was National Representative of Greece to the European LIFE + Programme from 2009-2012.
