Trained of high school intervention teams to address bullying, from Neapolis University in Cyprus

Representatives of the high schools and the Technical Schools of Paphos, which belong in the intervention group on bullying in each school were trained on 12.03.2013 by Dr. Olga Solomontos-Kountouri, Lecturer in the Department of Psychology of the Neapolis University in Cyprus. The training took place at the premises of the University. The event was hailed by Professor of Psychology Mr. Diomedes Markoulis, Vice Rector of Neapolis University in Cyprus and Mr. Giannakis Efthimiou, Chief Education Officer from the Paphos District Office. Specifically, the training was concentrated on the detection, identification and registration of incidents of violence in their schools. Teachers expressed their enthusiasm and their gratitude and expect the second training that will cover the subject on how to handle bullying.
