Students of Architecture and Real Estate of the University in Kings Avenue Mall

Students of Architecture and Real Estate of Neapolis University in Cyprus, visited the Kings Avenue Mall in Paphos, within the course Electromechanical Facilities of Building. The really ambitious mall, which is about to open its doors to the public, is located in the tourist area of Kato Paphos on a plot 46 181 sq.m., on the Apostle Paul avenue and close to the Tombs of the Kings. It includes department stores, supermarkets, restaurants, cinemas, playground and underground parking for 1,200 cars. Students accompanied by Professor Dr. John Bellos, Assistant Professor of structural design and Manufacturing Technology of Neapolis University in Cyprus. The Engineers Mr. Karsera and Mr. Chantzisavvas guided the students to locations of the stores and the mezzanine floor of the complex. He also analysed the electromechanical services on site, as well as the use, operations and maintenance of the extremely sophisticated machinery. All agreed that this visit, beyond the architectural interest, it contributed to gain valuable experience and expertise.
