The International Association IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) gives students the ability to exchange for work and exercise worldwide. The participation is open to all Cypriots and foreigners, undergraduate or graduate students, who in the summer of 2014 will complete at least one academic year of their full time study. Each program lasts 6-8 weeks and is completed during the summer. Employers pay their employees benefits and they bear the costs of transport, accommodation and food.
Main Speaker was Mr. Demi Valtas, representative of IAESTE Cyprus National Office, which responded to all questions. Moderator of the event was Dr. Julia Georgi, Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture and Director of European and Research Programs of Neapolis University in Cyprus. The event brought their personal experience of the University students, who have participated in IAESTE programs.
