Representatives of the leading institutions of justice, the legal world of Paphos district and many citizens attended on the 17 of February the presentation of the book of the District Judge, Kostas Satolia at Neapolis University in Cyprus.
The presentation of the book “Forensic Practice”, which was an initiative of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the Neapolis University in Cyprus, was made by Myron Nicolatou, President of the Supreme Court.
The event was greeted by Petros Artemis, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Law School of the University and former Chief Justice. The President of the Cyprus Bar Association, Doros Ioannides and Epaminondas Korakidou, President of the Bar Association of Paphos also welcomed the event.
The “Judicial Practice” deals with the Judicial Institutions of Cyprus. In 821 pages that make out the book someone can find a listing and an analysis of more than 1047 selected decisions of the Supreme Court of Cyprus from the year 1961 until 2014, concerning the interpretation of the Civil Procedure Rules. Through these decisions a lawyer may understand the functioning of Civil Procedure, in an easy and simple way, and identify the correct time to apply to the Court.
