On Friday October 21st Terra Cypria in collaboration with a French Landscape Architecture School visited Neapolis University in Cyprus. During their visit, students from France and the Bachelor students of Architecture of Neapolis University, mutually presented their design proposals during the ‘Thematic Architecture Studio’ course tutored by Dr. Julia Georgi, Assoc. Professor and Head of the Department of Architecture, Land and Environmental Sciences, along with Mrs. Koula Michael, Environmentalist, who represented Terra Cypria.
The French students were welcomed by the Vice Rector of Neapolis University Professor Diomedes Markoulis, the Head of the Department of Law School Professor Konstantinos Athanasopoulos and Mr. Andreas Charalambous, Campus Director of the University.
On Saturday October 22nd the students joined the students of the Master of Landscape Architecture of Neapolis University during their visit to Coral Beach Hotel & Resort. A guided tour to the outdoor landscaping of the area was guided by Mrs. Nicoletta Ciampagnia, agriculturist of Leptos Group. All students were also divided into mixed groups that were assigned to exercise in hand drawing sketches and design the built and planting materials they reported during their visit.
