“COHESION POLICY: SUPPORT IN SOCIETY AND SMEs” was held on Friday 26/10/2018 by Neapolis University in Cyprus at Coral Beach Hotel, as a part of the project “In4COHESION – Information and Awareness for Cohesion Policy via Media”.
During the conference actions and good practices were presented in the field of cohesion policy by the Municipality of Paphos (Mr. Fedonas Fedonos, Mayor of Pafos), Limassol Chamber of Commerce (Nicolas Iordanous, Senior Officer of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce), Paphos Development Company “Aphrodite” (Mr. Marios Ioannou, Director of the Development Company of Paphos), the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism (Mr. Christos Fotiadis, Senior Officer of the Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism) and the Department of Labor of the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance (Marios Eugeniou, Officer A ‘).
The guests had the opportunity to be informed about the EU Cohesion Policy fund and relevant projects and to understand the role and impact of the Cohesion Fund in Cyprus, to understand the stages of the procedure for registering a proposal in the Cohesion Policy Fund and to network by solving questions through discussion and exchange of views.
