Neapolis University in Cyprus, aims for academic excellence, to communicate with the business world and to respond to what the labour market’s needs are, to strengthen its external activities and to broaden its partnerships with the businesses world.
As part of this effort, on June 25th, 2019, Neapolis University and Statare Solutions, signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement was signed by Mr. Andreas Charalambous, Campus Director, and Dr. Savva Chatzihristofis, Associate Professor of Informatics, on behalf of the University of Neapolis, and Mr. Stavros Stavrou, International Operation and HR Manger, on behalf of STATARE Solutions.
STATARE SOLUTIONS is a growing IT company based in Pafos. The company provides its experience and services in Internal Technologies (IT) to customers located in Europe and Scandinavia as part of an ongoing effort to help them succeed and overcome long-term technical challenges.
The cooperation between the two parties concerns the involvement of Statare Solutions in the European Project “Liaison Offices with the labour market”, for student placement purposes. The Memorandum of Understanding, also promotes joint actions such as the organization of events that will simultaneously highlight the academic work purposes of Neapolis University and the level of services offered by Statare Solutions.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the challenges of today’s entrepreneurship environments, technological developments and expressed the common position that underlines the need for academic and business collaboration as a prerequisite for progress and growth in the future. During the meeting, there was also an agreement for future meetings between the two parties in order to plan their joint actions.
