Neapolis University in Cyprus aiming to the academic excellence, linking its Curricula with the business world and responding to the needs of the labour market, enhances its outreach by expanding its partnerships with businesses, organizations and institutions.
As part of this effort, on December 13 2019, Neapolis University in Cyprus and Radio Paphos Pancyprian formalized their cooperation through a Cooperation Agreement signed by Mr. Andreas Charalambous, Campus Director and Mr. Fotis Nikolaidis, Director of the Radio Paphos Pancyprian.
Radio Paphos Pancyprian, Cyprus’s radio station measuring 30 years of life, is the heir of the historic station, which operated in 1963 and 1974 in Paphos and has been linked to historical events of Cyprus. Since 2017 Radio Paphos Pancyprian broadcasts all over Cyprus on frequencies 93.7 (Paphos) 95.5 (Limassol) and 98.8 (Nicosia, Larnaca, Famagusta and Chrysochous Town) with a renewed program and a plurality of radio producers, social interest activities and continues to offer its services while maintaining its timeless quality.
The cooperation between the two partners deals with the participation of Radio Paphos Pancyprian in the wide network of partners of the European project ” Liaison Offices with the Labour Market “, implemented by Neapolis University in Cyprus for the purpose of placing students in the labour market. It also promotes actions, such as joint organization of events, which will simultaneously highlight the academic work of Neapolis University in Cyprus and the level of services provided by Paphos Radio Pancyprian.
