New collaborations for Neapolis University Interlibrary Lending network

As part of the University’s ongoing efforts to improve its services to its student and academic community, but also to the wider community of knowledge and research activity in the Republic of Cyprus, a wide network of collaborations with the University’s Library has been developed and is continuously expanding, with University libraries, as well as with various agencies and institutions, which have libraries in Cyprus and Greece.

The University Library’s collection, in addition to the thousands of titles available in printed form on its premises, also provides electronic access via the most important international databases to 1,500,000 books, scientific articles and journals, as well as 20,000,000 articles, covering all the disciplines that Neapolis University in Cyprus offers.

The most recent additions to the Library’s network of collaborations are the signing of a lending agreement with the Library of the Hellenic Parliament (includes in its collections approximately 650,000 volumes of books, newspapers and journals) and the Library of West Attica University (includes more than 100,000 book titles).

Also, recently, a new collaboration was signed with the online database “ProQuest Ebook Central”, which provides access to more than 1,000,000 electronic books and scientific publications.
