A cooperation protocol was signed on Tuesday 15.09.2020 between Neapolis University Pafos and the University of Piraeus by the Rectors of the two Higher Education Institutions, Professors Pantelis Sklias and Angelos Kotios.
The agreement aims to promote academic exchanges and to deepen and strengthen the cooperation of the two Higher Education Institutions in areas of scientific and cutting-edge technological knowledge, for the undertaking and implementation of joint educational, academic and research activities.
During the signing ceremony of the protocol, the Rector of Neapolis University Professor Pantelis Sklias stated:
“Today we welcome our dear friend, Professor Angelos Kotios, Rector of the University of Piraeus, with whom we signed today a protocol of understanding and cooperation, which now makes the University of Piraeus a strategic partner in the development of Neapolis University. The long-standing academic excellence and competence of the University of Piraeus in high priority fields (Economics, Shipping, Finance & Computer Science) with well-known academics, will contribute to the creation of common university programmes of cutting-edge applied knowledge for the benefit and further expansion of Neapolis University’s international student community and the continuation of its dynamic course of development.”
The Rector of the University of Piraeus Professor Angelos Kotios stated:
With great pleasure we are here today in beautiful Paphos among good friends, at the premises of Neapolis University, a quality University of high academic standards with an envious course of development, to sign a cooperation protocol making Neapolis University a privileged strategic partner in our University’s effort for the extroversion and internationalisation of its Curricula, and contributing to the strengthening and further upgrading of the already excellent cooperation of our Universities.”
