Andrei Smolenskii

Dr. Andrei Smolensky received his Specialist Diploma in Mathematics in 2012 at Saint Petersburg State University and his PhD in Algebra in 2016 at St. Petersburg Department of V.A. Steklov Mathematical Institute. He taught a variety of courses, mostly in algebra, in his alma mater, from 2015 to 2023, while also doing his research in the field of linear groups and related structures and their applications to statistics and machine learning on manifolds.
