Professor of Literary Translation

Literary translator, teacher of translation, associate professor at Lomonosov Moscow State University, where she has taught a translation seminar (jointly with Victor Sonkin) for more than 20 years. Author of more than 50 articles and reviews (awarded the Best Review prize by Foreign Literature magazine, 2009). Translator of  Julian Barnes, Dorothy L. Sayers, Pamela Travers, Patricia Duncker, Hanya Yanagihara, Daniel Mason, and many other authors. Winner of the Debut Prize (with Victor Sonkin, for Not Just Holmes collection of translated crime stories with commentary) and the Yasnaya Polyana Prize (together with Patricia Duncker and Victor Sonkin), 2020.
