An open information and dissemination event of the results of the Project “PowerUp/Support of former workers in the energy sector with the aim of reintegration into the labor market” within the framework of the ERASMUS+ Program of the European Commission will be held on Wednesday 23.10.2024 from 11.00 to 13.00 at the “Kyrenia” Amphitheater of Neapolis Paphos University.
The general priorities of Project contribute to achieving the environmental sustainability and tackling climate change and the sectoral priorities to enhance the employment opportunities for former workers in fossil fuel energy production and promote the innovation in Lifelong Education and Training limiting the negative impact of job losses, as a result of the green transition.
The active participation of the University team with other 7 partners from 4 European Countries (France, Greece, Bulgaria and Cyprus) in the implementation and completion of the Project, created strong synergies between Higher Education Institutions of the Single European Higher Education Area and Vocational Training Centers, contributing to the strategic axes of Neapolis University Pafos to promote the academic excellence, in the production of innovative applied knowledge as well as in social contribution and development of citizen’s society in local and national level. watch link: bit.ly/PowerUP24
