On Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 19:30, within the framework of the celebrations of the 200th National Anniversary of the Greek Revolution, the Municipality of Nafplio has organised a live online talk by the History Professor at Neapolis University Pafos, and Former Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus Georgios Georgis, on “The Freedoms of Nafplio – The creation of a Capital”.
The event will be introduced by Professor Stelios Perrakis, Dean of the Law School of Neapolis University Pafos, Coordinator of the Ephorate of Honour “Nafplio 2021”, President of the Hellenic Society of International Law and International Relations, and Former Ambassador of Greece in the Council of Europe.
The speech focuses on the historical and political significance of Nafplio during the years of the Greek Revolution.
