Dr. Constantina Zamba is a registered Counselling Psychologist and a Lecturer in Counseling Psychology at the Department of Psychology, School of Health Sciences at Neapolis University Pafos. She holds a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Organizational Psychology and a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology (Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology) from Wolverhampton University, United Kingdom. She worked in the NHS, West Midlands of the United Kingdom in many mental health services (primary and secondary), privately and in the Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the family (SPAVO) in Cyprus. She has participated in many conferences in Cyprus and in the United Kingdom. Dr. Zamba’s research interests are in counseling psychology training and practice, mindfulness, supervision, personal, professional development and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy). Dr. Zamba supervises students in the psychology department at the School of Health Sciences, Neapolis University Pafos. She also provides private psychological and counselling services and clinical supervision to professionals and students. Dr. Zamba is coordinating the Undergraduate Psychology Practicum committee. Her doctoral thesis was related to Stress, quality of life and mindfulness of trainee psychologists.
