Lecturer in Engineering Materials
Natia Anastasi is a Lecturer in Engineering Materials in the Department of Civil Engineering at Neapolis University Pafos since 2021. She holds a Ph.D. in Organometallic Chemistry from Yale University and has completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where she explored aspects of environmental chemistry. In 2004 she returned to Cyprus where she has been working in the local industry for the past years. She is currently senior chemist at A.N.C. Waterproofing Industries a company that manufactures specialized chemicals for the construction and road construction industries. Additionally, since June 2014, she has been collaborating with Neapolis University, Pafos, both as a visiting professor in the School of Architecture, Engineering and the Environment and in the Department of Research where she is responsible for the scientific implementation and management of various research projects, such as FP7, Horizon 2020, EEA, Erasmus+ etc. Dr Anastasi has numerous publications in scientific journals and has served on various committees as scientific expert both in Cyprus and overseas.
