After studying Educational Psychology at Boston University and New Jersey City University, USA, at the Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral level, he worked as Professor at the University of Cyprus for many years and as visiting Professor at various Universities overseas. As from September, 2021 he is a Professor and Dean of the School of Health Sciences at the Neapolis University, Pafos. His research interests include parenting, family-school relations, internalizing and externalizing problems in school age (including bullying), and transactional models describing complex relationships between interpersonal variables. He also studied mindfulness, moral disengagement and emotion regulation in adolescence. He has published four textbooks in Greek and more than 90 papers in international, scientific, peer review Journals earning about 3500 citations.
