Thasos Mallourides is a qualified accountant currently working for the Tax Office of the government of Cyprus. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Warwick University in 2003 and subsequently trained with KPMG and qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants. He subsequently joined the Audit Service of Co-operative societies as a Principle Auditor and since 2015 he has held a very senior position in the Tax Office. His professional experience includes the audit of financial statements, special fraud examinations, tax planning and tax investigations. He has also consulted various types of organisations on systems of internal control.
He has been a Tutor of ACCA Papers for 10 years, specialising in the field of Tax, Financial Reporting and Auditing. He is also a member of the marking team of ACCA’s Advanced Taxation P6 since 2018 (CY)
