Announcement of Doctoral Candidate Positions for the Academic Year 2025-2026 at Neapolis University Pafos

The Doctoral Studies Unit of Neapolis University Pafos (NUP) announces the opening of a limited number of PhD Candidate positions for the academic year 2025–2026. The application period runs from Monday, March 24, 2025, until Friday, May 30, 2025.

PhD Programmes

Positions are available in the following disciplines:

  • Psychology (Greek – English)
  • Modern and Contemporary History (Greek)
  • International Relations and Security (English)
  • Accounting and Finance in Co-supervision with the University of Western Macedonia (Greek – English)
  • Project Management in Co-supervision with the Democritus University of Thrace (Greek – English)
  • Business Administration in Co-supervision with the University of Piraeus (Greek – English)

Online Submission of Applications

The application and the required documents are submitted electronically through the special platform of Neapolis University in Paphos. The applicant selects the programme(s) of interest and identifies the thematic section of the research proposal.

Admission Criteria

Applicants must hold a recognized Master’s degree in a relevant field and demonstrate a good command of the English language (where required). They must submit a research proposal, a statement of interest, two letters of recommendation, and a detailed CV. The overall evaluation is based on academic qualifications, the originality of the proposal, and the ability to conduct independent research.

No applications or documents will be accepted after Friday, May 30, 2025, at 14:00.
