Presentation of the design proposals of the Master of Landscape Architecture for the Paphos Archaeological Museum

On Sunday, March 8 the designs of the students of the Master of Landscape Architecture, regarding the reorganization of the landscaping of the Paphos Archaeological Museum and the District Officer House Landscape was presented.
The design proposals were presented to a committee consisting of Paphos Mayor, Phaidon Phaidon, the Rector of the Neapolis University in Cyprus Professor Spyros Makridakis, the Board Member of PAPHOS2017, Mr. John Koutsolampro and Lecturer, of the Neapolis University Mrs. Angeliki Sivitanidou.
The proposals were presented under the Master of Landscape Architecture Studio II with the coordinator of the course Dr. Julia Georgi, Associate Professor and President of the Department of Architecture and geoenvironmental Sciences.
Preceded the presentation a meetings with the Department of Antiquities, were the plans of Graduate Studies where presented and an agreement on the general principles for design began in the cooperation of Neapolis University in Cyprus and Agency Paphos 2017.
There was also a presentation of the student designs regarding the surrounding areas of the former cinema Othello.
The Presentation was followed by a discussion and analysis of proposals.
