The Department of Computer Science of Neapolis University Pafos and the IT company Primiq Solutions Ltd signed, on January 24, 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding aiming at connecting the academic community and the business world and starting a cooperation between the two parties on research, business process analysis through digitisation and data analysis in a secure environment.
Primiq Solutions Ltd is a new company, based in Paphos, which specializes in Cloud Engineering by combining many different methods and tools in information technology. The company offers services that supports collaborations, sharing and user analytics in advanced security compliances and also suggests sustainable solutions for various technical and economic topics that companies concern about.
The Memorandum of Understanding includes, among others, students’ placements aiming at gaining work experience and improving further their skills during their studies, the announcement of thesis projects based on real case scenarios of the company, the co-organization of actions / events / workshops based on the collective progress of society and the progress of the student community, as well as it sets the framework for further cooperation in participation in European projects.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on behalf of Neapolis University Pafos by Professor of Artificial Intelligence Savvas Chatzichristofis, Vice-Rector of Research and Innovation of Neapolis University Pafos and on behalf of Primiq Solutions Ltd by Founder, CEO & Senior Software Engineer, Mr. Raffael Hühnerschulte.
