UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
Dear students,
We would like to inform you that the elections process for your representatives at the “University Students’ Association” will be conducted electronically on the 14th of November 2023. All registered students in all departments and years of study have the right to participate and vote representatives who will be elected per Department of Study according to the table below:

Please note that there are 25 positions in the Plenary Session of the Association. If there will be no representative student from a non-EU countries in the general voting, a special vote will follow among all the non-EU student, in order to elect 2 additional members.
The members of the Plenary will then elect a nine-member (9) Students’ Board that will participate in the following bodies of the University as students’ representatives:
- Administrative counseling
- The Senate of the University
- General Assembly of the Department / Schools
- Quality Assurance Committee
- Students’ Affairs Committee
The Electoral Process
The Electoral Committee which will be in charge of contacting the electoral process will consist of at least seven (7) and not more than eleven (11) members out of students who will not apply for election as students’ representatives on the Plenary. Students who are interested to be members of the Electoral Committee can express their interest at the Students Affairs office on 6th November 2023
If an Electoral Committee is not formed the electoral process will be carried out by competent officials of the University.

Students interested to be elected as representatives of their Program, must register at the Students’ Affairs office by email: [email protected], from 6th November to 9th of November 2023 in order to compile the electoral lists of the Programs.
It is noted that where there are no more candidates than the maximum number of representatives per Department no election process will be held.
POSTGRADUATE CONVENTIONAL STUDENTS
The electoral process for your representatives in the institutions of the University will be conducted electronically over the 14th of November 2023. All registered students in all departments and years of study have the right to participate and be elected. One representative per Department of Study will be elected.
A representative for every postgraduate conventional program will be elected who will participate in the General Assembly of the Department / Schools

All registered students have the right to participate and be elected in all the Programs and years of study and one representative per Program will be elected.

The elected representatives of the distance students will elect their representative in the Pedagogical Planning Committee. The responsibilities of the student representative in the Pedagogical Planning Committee are advisory in order to support the Distance Education Unit in its main axes of operation, such as meeting its needs for study material, its interactive activities in relation to students and SEP members as well as in the evaluation according to international standards and quality indicators.
