After completing their studies, students are entitled to remain in the areas controlled by the government of the Republic of Cyprus, based on a relevant residence permit granted to them upon application and provided that the relevant legal conditions are met, for a maximum period of twelve (12) months, in order to seek employment or establish a business in the field of their completed studies.

According to the legislation, the minimum level of studies that they must have completed is the level corresponding to level seven of the European Qualifications Framework (master’s or higher than master’s degree).
